How to make a hexagon
When we learn to origami by hand, we often origami on the basis of regular hexagon. Many newcomers may encounter this problem-how to make a hexagon out of square paper? Share three graphic tutorials to get regular hexagonal paper, hoping to help everyone ~

Hexagonal paper method 1

Step 1, take a square origami.

Step 2: Fold the lower edge of the origami to the upper edge once.

Step 3: Fold the folded origami into four equal creases.

Step 4: Fold the 1/4 crease line of the right origami to the left with the bottom point of the center line as the axis, and align the vertex with the 1/4 crease line after folding the right origami.

Step 5, the left origami is folded back with the bottom point of the center line as the axis, and after folding, the origami pattern is symmetrical.

Step 6: Draw a straight line on the newly formed figure at the overlapping point (lower point) between the front and back vertices and the edge, and mark it.

Step 7: Cut off the redundant part along the marked straight line and unfold it.

Step 8, regular hexagonal origami is completed!

Hexagonal paper method 2

1. Square paper is a regular hexagon.

1. Fold two vertical and horizontal centerlines in half, and fold the bottom to the horizontal centerline, leaving a crease as a horizontal fourth-order line, which will be used in step 3;

2. Fold the bottom upwards;

3. The above two points are folded to the center and fall on the bisector obtained in step 1, and the creases are the two sides of a regular hexagon, which is also called 60-degree folding;

4. Fold the middle point of the upper edge to the lower left, so that it falls on the quartering line. The crease intersects with the edge of a hexagon obtained in the previous step, and an intersection point is obtained. After the completion, another intersection point is obtained. Fold horizontally along these two intersections, and another edge of the hexagon comes out. Expand as shown in Figure 5. The shaded part in Figure 6 is a regular hexagon.

Second, fold the hexagon with A4 paper.

1. quartering;

2. The above two points are folded to the center and fall on the bisector obtained in step 1, and the creases are the two sides of a regular hexagon, which is also called 60-degree folding;

3. The creases obtained in the last step are folded up and down respectively;

4. Fold the crease obtained in the last step to the right, and fold it to the upper and lower sides respectively; The shading in Figure 6 is a regular hexagon.

Hexagonal paper practice 3

1. First, fold the paper in half. After completion, as shown in the figure.

2. Unfold the paper, then fold the left and right sides in half, as shown in the figure.

3. Then, fold the right side to the center line, as shown in the figure. (Please try to partially fold)

4. Fold the top edge to the center line after unfolding, as shown in the figure. (Please try to partially fold)

5. Then expand and fold the lower left corner and the upper right corner.

6. Then fold the paper up and down according to the crease shown in the figure. (Don't be too precise)

7. After unfolding, then fold left and right according to the new dotted line shown in the figure.

8. Then fold back the two corresponding triangles obtained by folding the two lines just now.

9. Then fold the two parts up and down according to the crease near the center line.

10. Fold the lower left corner back as shown by the crease.

1 1. Then expand, as shown in the figure.

12. Continue to fold the lower right corner to the back as shown in the figure.

13. Then the lower half will be folded according to the crease.

14. Then fold the upper left corner to the back according to the crease shown in the figure.

15. As shown in the figure after expansion.

16. Fold the upper left corner back according to the crease shown in the figure.

17. Finally, the figure will be obtained, and the excess will be subtracted according to the crease.
