Different cooking utensils require different simmering times for this ingredient, ranging from about 15 minutes to 3 hours.
1. Ordinary stew pot: Cut beef tendons, brisket and other hard parts into large pieces and stew them over slow fire. It usually takes more than 2 to 3 hours to stew until soft. Tender parts such as beef tenderloin and steak require a shorter stew time, about 30 minutes to an hour before they are fully cooked.
2. Pressure cooker: Beef tendons, brisket and other parts are stewed in a pressure cooker. It will take about 20 to 30 minutes to be cooked through. For tender meat such as beef tenderloin and steak, the stewing time can be shortened to about 15 minutes when using a pressure cooker.
