This product is covered with white hairs. The stem is cylindrical, with longitudinal ribs, 2-5mm in diameter; the surface is greenish brown or dark green. Leaves opposite, nearly sessile, leaf blade wrinkled and curled or broken, the complete one is long lanceolate after spreading, entire or shallowly toothed, dark green. Heads 2-6mm in diameter, achenes oval and flat, 2-3mm long, brown or light brown. It is slightly salty in odor and taste.
