Spring Snow in the Pre-Qin period is one of the top ten famous guqin songs in China. According to legend, it was written by Shi Kuang, a musician of Jin State, or Liu Juanzi of Qi State in the Spring and Autumn Period. Yangchun and Baixue are two instrumental pieces in the existing piano score. Later, the Magic Secret Score compiled by Ming Taizu's son Zhu Quan once said in solving the problem:
Yangchun means that everything knows spring and the wind is indifferent, while Baixue means awe-inspiring and clean, with beautiful snow and bamboo.
"Spring Snow" shows the beautiful scenery of early spring when winter goes and spring comes, the earth recovers and everything is thriving. The melody is fresh and smooth, and the rhythm is relaxed and lively. Yangchun Baixue is a pipa divertimento composed of 8 or 6 variants of folk instrumental music instrument.
