Alias black snake, black flower snake, sword-backed snake, black wind snake, yellow wind snake and sword-backed zaocys.

Source: This product is the dried body of Zaocys dhumnades (Cantor), an animal of the family Serpentidae. More than in summer and autumn, cut open the belly of the snake or peel off the skin of the snake to leave the head and tail, remove the internal organs, dish it up and dry it.

preparation

Zaocys meat: After the head and scales are removed, it is smothered with yellow wine, skinless and dried.

Wine (roasted) Zaocys dhumnades: clean Zaocys dhumnades and fry them dry according to the wine-roasted method (Appendix Ⅱ D). Every 100kg of Zaocys, 20kg of yellow wine is used.

Sexual taste is sweet and flat. Meridian of liver.

Functions mainly include expelling wind, dredging collaterals and relieving spasm. For rheumatism, numbness, paralysis, apoplexy, hemiplegia, convulsion, tetanus, leprosy, scabies and scrofula.

Usage and dosage 9 ~12g. Or grind the powder and swallow it 1 money, and the decoction costs 3 yuan. You can also soak in wine.

Store in a dry place to prevent mildew and moth.

Note (1) is similar to Agkistrodon, but its efficacy is weak.
