Lahu Hulu Festival
The fifteenth day of the tenth lunar month
Hulu Festival is the most solemn traditional festival of Lahu nationality, which falls from October 15th to 17th of the lunar calendar every year. In addition, June 24th of the lunar calendar is the day when Lahu people celebrate Torch Festival. On that day, people lit torches and went to the fields to hold a ceremony called caring for the soul. Every year, the first to eleventh day of the first lunar month is the Spring Festival, which is the year of Lahu nationality. Lahu year is divided into big year and small year, the first to fourth day of the first month is big year, and the ninth to eleventh day is small year.
Manchu Banjin Festival
October 13th of the lunar calendar.
"Golden Festival" is the main traditional festival of Manchu. On October 13th of the lunar calendar, it is the naming anniversary of Manchu. According to legend, when Huang Taiji was born, the original name of Nuzhen was renamed Manchu Memorial Day.
Wang Pan Festival
October 16th of the lunar calendar.
"Wang Pan Festival" is the biggest festival of Yao nationality, and the festival time is October 16th of the lunar calendar. However, according to the traditional customs of Yao people in various places, the crops are abundant and people and animals are healthy, only once every three to five years, and some even once every 12 years. Every "Wang Pan Festival", the village housing society should clean up, men, women and children should dress up, put on holiday costumes, sing and dance, and break up happily. In addition, Yao people also celebrate the Spring Festival, Lantern Festival, Tomb-Sweeping Day, Dragon Boat Festival and Manglian Festival (also known as Ancestor Festival, which falls on the 15th day of the seventh lunar month every year).
