Under normal circumstances, the wild crucian carp native to China only grows one to two taels a year, and it takes 8 to 10 years to grow to more than one pound, and the life span of native crucian carp is only about 10 years, so Wild crucian carp can weigh up to one pound, but it is very small. Nowadays, when fishing in wild rivers, you can often encounter crucian carp weighing more than 1 kilogram. If the water quality of the river is good and the water is fertile, and few people go fishing, it is normal.
If encountered in ordinary rivers, they are basically engineered crucian carp released artificially. The engineered crucian carp grows very fast, 2/3 times that of ordinary crucian carp, and can grow up to 5/6 pounds. All are normal.
