Xiaolongbao was a steamed bun shop in nanxiang town during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty. Due to the increasingly fierce competition, the owner of the shop has been thinking about how to make the skin thinner, make the stuffing more, and improve the technology day by day, so Xiaolongbao was born. Authentic steamed buns originated in nanxiang town, Jiading County, so now many steamed buns are also named "Nanxiang", but most of them are authentic in Shanghai Nanxiang Steamed Bread Shop, which has a history of more than 100 years.
