Huawei's own weather suddenly can't be opened, so we can't check the weather in recent days.
Please try to solve the problem according to the following scenario:

Scene 1:

Problem phenomenon:

Enter the weather application:

The weather cannot be updated automatically.

Manual drop-down update of weather interface is invalid.

The interface displays the previous weather (a few hours ago or a day ago) or prompts "Weather information has expired".

Cause of the problem:

Huawei's own weather forecast is to obtain data from the third-party service provider ACCUWeather, which may be due to the abnormality of the Accu server, which leads to the untimely weather update.

If the weather in the current location can't be updated automatically, it may be that the positioning switch is turned off, so that the application can't get the user's location information, and thus can't get the local weather information.

Solution:

We suggest you try the following:

1, open the location service:

Open the location service: EMUI9.0 version enters? Settings? > ? Security and privacy? > ? Location service, turn on the switch to access my location information.

Other versions enter? Settings? > ? Security and privacy? > ? Location service is turned on and GPS, WLAN and mobile network are selected.

2. Attempt to switch network connection: If the current connection to WLAN cannot be updated, try to switch to 4G traffic data to refresh; if 4G traffic data cannot be refreshed, try to switch to WLAN.

3. Please clear the data and add your city again before trying. The operation method is as follows:

EMUI4.X & 5.X: settings? > ? Application management? > ? The weather? > ? Store, delete data and empty cache, re-enter the weather, click on the upper left corner? City, and then add a city.

EMUI8.X: settings? > ? Applications and notifications? > ? Application management? > ? The weather? > ? Store, delete data and empty cache, re-enter the weather, click on the upper left corner? City, and then add a city.

EMUI9.0: settings? > ? Application? > ? Application management? > ? The weather? > ? Store, delete data and empty cache, re-enter the weather, click "three dots" in the upper right corner, select the management city, and then add the city.

4. If the above methods still can't be solved, please provide the following information, and we will feed it back to Accu for confirmation:

Information on the city/region where the weather is abnormal.

Enter the weather interface and manually pull down to update once, then pull down again to see if the last update time is consistent with the system time.

Scenario 2: (This scenario is applicable to EMUI 9.0)

Problem phenomenon:

Weather is not updated, including weather data and weather location, and manual refresh cannot be updated.

Cause of the problem:

In the process of weather update, due to the abnormal exit of the program (cleaning the background application and restarting the mobile phone), the update failed, so it is necessary to delete the weather data, restart the weather application and add the city again.

Solution:

Enter? Settings > Application > Application management > Weather > Store, delete data and empty cache;

Re-enter the weather application and add cities.

This problem will be solved in the next version B 125. Please pay attention to the version upgrade information and complete the upgrade in time.

Remarks:

When the weather automatic updating conditions are met, it can be automatically updated without entering the weather application.

Huawei's mobile phone weather data are all from weather suppliers. At present, the weather supplier we cooperate with is AccuWeather.

"China Weather Link" is the brand of AccuWeather in China. At the end of 20 17, it reached an agreement with suppliers on data source display:

The name of the weather data source in the self-contained weather of China version EMUI8.0 and above was changed from "Accuweather" to "China Weather Link".

The name of the weather data source in the built-in weather of EMUI4.1/EMUI5.0/5.1version still uses "AccuWeather".

This modification is only a name change, and the data source is still consistent. Please feel free to use it.

Due to the user privacy protection requirements of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in EMUI9.0, applications are not allowed to obtain user location information when the location switch is turned off, so the location switch must be turned on in EMUI 9.0 to update the current location weather.
