Indica xiān

A type of rice. Early maturing but not sticky.

The rice milled from indica rice. Less sticky and produces more rice.

Indica rice a variety of rice in China. The rice plant is slightly higher than japonica rice, tillering is stronger, but the culm is soft and easy to fall over, less tolerant of fertilizer. Rice grains are long and thin, viscous small and bloated. Mainly distributed in South China and the south of the Huaihe River.
