The origin of green dates is Hainan. Hainan Daqing Zao, also known as Hainan sweet jujube and hairy-leaf jujube, is an evergreen shrub plant. It is a high-quality fruit variety developed from Indonesian hairy-leaf jujube through multi-generation improvements by breeders in Hainan Province. Biologically, Hainan jujube belongs to the genus Ziziphus of the Rhamnaceae family. It is in the same family as the common jujube trees in my country, but is a different species. Although Hainan Province's green jujube is the same as Vietnam's hairy-leaf jujube, Philippines' hairy-leaf jujube, and my country's natural hairy-leaf jujube, the types are different and their characteristics are also significantly different. Daqing jujube fruit is rich in nutrients. Ancient people said that "eclipse three jujubes per day will lead to immortality". Jujube has been listed as one of the "Five Fruits" (peach, plum, plum, apricot, and jujube) since ancient times.
