The teacher said for us to do an experiment at home. I was thinking it must be fun to do experiments, and what I want to do is to soak eggs in vinegar. So as soon as I got home from school, I started the preparation. Step 1: I first took out the raw eggs, white vinegar, plastic cups. I am particularly anxious, and took out another raw egg, this time gently into the plastic cup.

Step 3: Pour white vinegar into the plastic cup, one to two centimeters higher than the egg. After two minutes the egg was surrounded by small bubbles and the egg slowly rose.

By the next day, I had a new discovery, there were many small bubbles above the egg, yellow and white.

On the third day, the egg became much whiter, and it shook as if it were a sleeping girl, turning its head to the front and then to the back, and then it slowly sank.

On the fourth day, I was especially happy because the eggs were transparent! You can see the yolk inside the transparent one, and when you touch it, the egg has become soft!

Then I went to the Internet to find out why the eggs sink, then float and sink again, the reason is: the eggs sink under the effect of gravity. There is calcium carbonate on the egg shell, and white vinegar in the acetic acid combination, so that the calcium carbonate becomes less, the shell is soft, but also produces carbon dioxide, carbon dioxide will make the egg re-floating. The carbon dioxide will cause the egg to float again, and then the egg will sink under gravity, and so on.
