1. If you have an oven!
1. Buy chestnuts. If you want to buy chestnuts, buy the ones that have no insect holes and are relatively hard and reddish brown with a shiny hemisphere. Don’t buy the round ones in the middle, which are difficult to cut. Buy them evenly and don't make them too big as they won't ripen easily.
2. Go home and wash the chestnuts. It is best to drain or wipe dry the water. Then cut each chestnut with a knife. Be careful and don't use too much force, otherwise it will be easy to cut in half with one knife.
3. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees, then toss the chestnuts with vegetable oil, not too much, just enough on each chestnut.
Line a baking sheet with tin foil.
Spread the chestnuts evenly.
4. Then keep the heat up and down for thirty minutes and that’s it.
(Take one out and taste it. If it is not cooked, just bake it again.)
If you want to eat something with sugar and honey, stop at 25 minutes. Apply sugar water (mix sugar and water, not too dilute) or honey onto the cracked areas of the chestnuts. Then just continue baking.
But in fact, I feel that adding sugar will only make the chestnuts sticky and difficult to peel. It is better to eat the original flavor of chestnuts.
Then the fragrant chestnuts are ready!
2. If you have a microwave oven (oh, that would be convenient.
1.2. The steps are the same as above, but the chestnuts must be cut!

Microwave for about two to three minutes, until the mouth of the chestnuts looks open. .
(If you don’t have a suitable container, put it in a bowl and wrap it in plastic wrap!)
4. Add a little sugar or cooking oil! Stir it!

Two or three more minutes! The microwaved chestnuts will be almost the same as the fried chestnuts!
The total microwave time is about five minutes, add 30 seconds before they are cooked! p>
Microwave chestnuts seem to be easy to peel!

Let’s eat boiled chestnuts! p>
Step 1.2 is the same as above. Some friends even just wash it and add it to the pot.
3. You can add an appropriate amount of salt or sugar to the water according to your taste.
After the water boils, put it on medium heat for about 30 minutes before eating.
(Similarly, if you can’t tell if it’s done with your eyes, try it with your mouth! Be careful of burning your mouth!
Cai Cai has been eating boiled chestnuts for three years, because her grandma insists that boiling them will not cause internal heat. She doesn’t want to eat boiled chestnuts anymore for the time being, but boiled chestnuts are still delicious.
There are also steamed chestnuts, so feel free to do so!
Roasted chestnuts and roasted sweet potatoes are really winter gifts!
