1, choose beans and wash mung beans with water. Pay attention to remove all floating beans when washing. These are immature or deteriorated beans with extremely low germination rate.
2, cylinder, or a large plastic box, or other containers (material doesn't matter, clean, bottom can be drained), spread a layer of clean sand about 5CM thick, evenly spread a layer of washed soaked beans on the sand, not too much or it will be easily broken. Evenly cover the beans with a layer of clean sand, with a thickness of about 1CM.
Water several times a day to keep the humidity. Mung beans should always be kept in a humid environment. But you can't let the water stay.
After a few days, the bean sprouts will arch out. Wash the sand with clean water.
Small bean sprouts break through the barrier of soil, and the nutrients in them are also consumed. At this time, you need to put it in the sun for photosynthesis. However, after the bean sprouts grow in the sun, the roots will grow longer and longer in a few days. If you don't pull them out of the soil in time, they will grow green leaves, and he can't eat them at this time.
Tip: during germination, you can put it in the sun. It doesn't matter if there is no sunshine, because basically during the germination of mung bean sprouts, the nutrients it consumes don't need sunshine, because it won't carry out photosynthesis. However, if there is sunshine, it is best to put it in the sun. Basically, after soaking for two days, the bean sprouts germinate and grow roots of about 0.5 cm.
Use this method sparingly:
1, two handfuls of mung beans, washed and soaked in water overnight.
2. Prepare containers for raw mung bean sprouts, one is leak-proof and the other is sealed. For example, you can use an old-fashioned rice cooker.
3. The next day, put the soaked mung bean into the inner container (leaking container) of the old rice cooker, pour water on the tap, then put it into the pot (closed container), cover it and put it in a ventilated and cool place. Note that the water to be drenched here must be clear water, not oily.
4. On the third day, open the lid and take out the inner container. You will find that the mung bean has sprouted, and it is still drenched, covered and put away as before.
The fourth day is still drenched with water as the third day. On the fifth day, you will find that the mung bean sprouts have grown to the pot cover.
6. On the sixth day, mung bean sprouts grew longer. Take out the long mung bean sprouts, put them in a container, and then put them in the refrigerator. There will be some roots on mung bean sprouts, which can be removed, otherwise it will affect the taste. Remember to put it in the refrigerator, or the mung bean sprouts will continue to grow and will not taste good when they are old.
Generally, mung beans can germinate in 3~6 days after soaking in water. But it should be noted that not only light bubbles, but also temperature and humidity should be paid attention to. Germination needs enough water, otherwise it is estimated that it will not germinate at all. Generally, 5 kg of mung bean sprouts can produce about 50 kg of fresh bean sprouts.
