Shut down Windows Defender completely
Enter "regedit" in the Cortana search bar and enter the registry editor. Navigate to HKEY _ local _ machine \ system \ currentcontrolset \ services \ Securityhealthservice, find "start" on the right and double-click to change "numerical data" from 2 to 4.
If you need to reopen it, just repeat the above steps and change 4 back to 2.
Note: Modifying the registry is risky, so be careful.
The above methods are applicable to all versions of WIN 10. In addition to modifying the registry, WIN 10 Professional Edition can completely shut down Windows Defender through group policy.
Professional users completely shut down Windows Defender.
Enter "gpedit.ms" through the key combination of "WIN+R" and press enter to enter the group policy. Click "Management Templates" and "Windows Components" in turn, find and double-click "Windows Defender", double-click to close "Windows Defender" and click "Enabled" and "OK".
