Yam:
Rich in amylase and polyphenol oxidase, it can strengthen the spleen and stomach and promote absorption; Rich in protein and vitamins, can enhance physical fitness; Rich in saponin and mucus, it can benefit lung and relieve cough.
Baby can eat yam properly in autumn, which can not only supplement various nutrients needed by the body, but also promote brain and bone development.
Suitable for months:
10 month+,teething and not allergic to food.
Ingredients:
Yam: two (iron stick yam is preferred)
Sweet potato: 1 piece
Steps:
1. Wash yam and sweet potato separately, peel yam and cut into sections, peel sweet potato, steam in a steamer for about 20 minutes, and take it out for later use.
2. Grind yam and sweet potato into mud respectively.
3. Put it in a non-stick pan and stir-fry until it is slightly dry (I made it in an electric cake stall, which I personally think is more convenient).
5. After the stir-fried mashed yam and mashed sweet potato are cooled, poke them into circles in the same amount. If the sweet potato is invaginated, the weight will be reduced to 1/3 of the mashed yam.
7. Round it and put it aside for use.
9. A plate of yam sweet potato cake with fruit pattern is finished!
Mo Meng MM has something to say:
In recent days, my sister DOG suddenly had an acute rash among children. She didn't like to eat yam, but she resisted it even more when she saw it. Thinking that she preferred to eat dry food, she made several yam and sweet potato cakes according to the principle of mung bean cakes, and she really liked it. What a happy meal!
Sometimes babies resist eating complementary food, not necessarily because they don't like it. Maybe they like it again with a little improvement, and they may find it difficult to serve such babies. But if the baby has been in an unpleasant dining atmosphere, forcing to eat what he doesn't like, or deleting this ingredient from their complementary food menu, will it make them more resistant over time?
Tips:
What if you are allergic to yam?
Many people have itchy fingers when peeling or washing yam. In fact, it is an allergic phenomenon, and I am no exception.
Ways to avoid itchy fingers are: put on gloves or soak your hands in diluted vinegar water for a while before handling yam.
Solution after itchy fingers: wipe vinegar, roast with fire, rub rice and soak in hot water.
