1, smell the smell
The wrapped Cordyceps sinensis has a strong fishy smell like straw mushroom and shiitake mushroom when it is in a meeting. A single Cordyceps sinensis can smell this smell when it is put close, but it is slightly weak. Fake Cordyceps generally has no smell, and even if it does, it is not this fragrant smell, but it will smell like fish, inferior perfume and chemical raw materials.
2. Touch the hand
Gently grab a handful of Cordyceps, and feel the weight of Cordyceps carefully. Really, Cordyceps has a crisp hay feeling after drying. Turn Cordyceps back and forth with your hands, and rub your fingers after leaving Cordyceps, and feel whether there is any stagnation. If there is, Cordyceps has been aggravated by alum; You can also pinch a single worm, rub it a few times more, and then feel whether your fingers feel sluggish.
3. Look at the section
Authentic Cordyceps sinensis has obvious lines after being broken, and there is a V-shaped black core in the middle of Cordyceps sinensis, and some may also be a black spot. This black core is actually the digestive line of insects.
4. Look at the appearance
There are 8 pairs on the ventral surface of genuine Cordyceps sinensis, and 4 pairs in the middle of the worm are very obvious. The stroma is born from the head of the worm, and the upper part is slightly enlarged. The length can reach 4~7cm and the diameter is about 0.3cm.
5. Look at the color
Authentic Cordyceps sinensis is divided into two parts: insects and grass. The surface of the insects is dark yellow to light yellow brown, and the color of most insects will change to some extent at the junction of insects and grass. The part of the "grass", that is, the sub-seat, presents the color of dead branches, with a deeper color.
