1, pot culture
If the crabs you buy are bound, untie them and put them in the basin. Be careful not to stack, and then add water to the crab's mouth. If the water is too deep, the crab will suffocate due to lack of oxygen. Then put the crab in a ventilated and cool place. If the plastic basin or bucket is high enough, there is no need to cover it with a lid.
2, bath care
Gently put the fresh crab into it, inject water that has just passed the crab, so that it can breathe when it stands up, and put a small amount of small fish and shrimp into the water according to the time needed to save it. The crabs fed in this way can last for more than 7 days or longer, and the survival rate of crabs with good quality can reach more than 95%.
Precautions for preserving crabs
1, when keeping crabs, you must keep them in water, and every time you change the water, you must not change them all, only two thirds at most, because crabs can live longer in the waters they are familiar with.
2. After crabs are kept in water for 2-3 days, you must put a small amount of food into them to prevent crabs from fighting. For the food you put, you'd better choose less fat, and don't put fat, because fat can easily cause the water quality to stink and the surface of crabs to be oily, which will lead to the death of crabs.
3. When storing crabs, be sure not to put them in a cool and humid place, such as the bathroom at home, which is most suitable for breeding crabs.
