Spores are colorless, smooth, cylindrical, round at one end and curved at the other, 7-10μ m× 3-4.2μ m. Economic value: the fruiting body can be eaten when it is young and tender, and it tastes very delicious. It contains Polyporus umbellatus polysaccharide (dextran), which has been tested to have anticancer effect.
