Tips for growing bean sprouts at home
1, Recombination of Coke Bottle: Cut off one end (bottle mouth or bottom) of the Coke Bottle with a knife, which is convenient for loading mung beans and unloading bean sprouts. Take an awl and stick twenty or thirty small holes of about 2mm at the other end of the coke bottle. The size and location are not strictly required, and it is used for ventilation and drainage of stagnant water. Then put the coke bottle vertically and put five layers of gauze (the diameter of the bottle) in the bottle, which is the growth place of bean sprouts.

2. Put a proper amount of mung beans into a cup, pour a small amount of hot water (note that it is not cold water), submerge the mung beans and soak them until the water cools. Don't worry, mung bean seeds will never die in this heat, but will grow better and more orderly. If soaked in plenty of boiling water, take it out within 20 seconds.

3. Pour out the water and soak it in clear water for 6-8 hours. You can see that the water turned pale green and the size of mung beans increased by two or three times. The second and third steps are very important. If it is omitted, it will take a few more days, and the germination is irregular.

4. Put the mung bean in the bottle, cover it with 8 layers of gauze, and put the coke bottle in a big cup or bucket.

5. Enter the normal maintenance stage: temperature, air and moisture are the three basic conditions for the growth of bean sprouts. Sunlight is superfluous. Under suitable conditions, after soaking seeds for about 8 hours, buds will grow, which are actually roots. If it grows slowly, the reason is either bad seeds, too much water, lack of water or low temperature.

6. Change water frequently three times in the morning, noon and evening. Pour the water out of the cup at a time, then pour an appropriate amount of water into the coke bottle, or immerse the coke bottle in water 10 minute. Finally, remember to keep a small amount of water in the big cup until the mung bean bottoms out, but don't soak the mung bean, otherwise the root will rot or grow poorly without water.

7. Put the bottle in a cardboard box or in a warm and dark place. It will take a long time when the weather is cold, so you can pour warm water at ordinary times.

8, usually observe the growth situation, timely harvest.
