Ingredients: 1 catty of fresh chicken wings (500g), 1 small size potato (100-150g), 1 small size carrot (100g), 20g of Braised Soy Sauce, 15g of sugar, 5g of salt, 15g of cooking wine, 1 section of green onion, 1 small piece of ginger, 20g of vegetable oil

First prepare 1 pound of fresh chicken wings. Wash and dry (don't let too much water remain on the surface).
Put them in a large bowl and add ginger and white onion sections cut into small slices. Add salt, cooking wine, red soy sauce and sugar.

Mix well and marinate in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
You can make it in advance and marinate it overnight, but don't marinate it for more than 24 hours.
If you don't have time, you can leave the chicken wings unmarinated, but make a few diagonal cuts on the wings to make them more flavorful (of course, they will be less flavorful this way).

Potatoes and carrots are washed, peeled and cut into small pieces.
The amount of potatoes and carrots should not be too large, as a side dish garnish can be. If too much one will dilute the flavor, the other will produce too much soup making the soup not fragrant enough.

Finally, mix the marinated chicken wings, potatoes, and carrots and toss well.

Prepare a microwave-ready container of the right size (it can be a large bowl, a glass pot, a microwave-ready cooking box, etc. that can be put into the microwave).
Pour the marinated chicken wings, potatoes, and carrots into the container along with the broth from the marinated chicken wings. Pour in the vegetable oil and mix well.

There are two ways to use the vegetable oil here:
If you have a microwave oven that can be empty, pour the vegetable oil into the container, put it into the microwave oven and turn it on high for 2 minutes, when the oil is hot, take it out and pour it into the chicken wings, potatoes, and carrots while it is hot. Then proceed to the subsequent steps. The result will be a little better this way.
If it is a normal microwave oven, do not do this, directly pour the vegetable oil into the chicken wings and mix well and proceed to the next step.

Cover the pan, put it in the microwave, and microwave on high for 15 minutes.
If you don't have a lid, wrap the mouth of the bowl with heat-resistant plastic wrap and poke some ventilation holes with a toothpick.
Be sure not to use a sealed lid, and remember to open the ventilation holes if you use the lid of a microwave-safe tupperware.
Depending on the power of your home microwave oven, about 15 minutes will do. If your microwave power is small, it may take a few minutes longer. As long as you can easily pierce the chicken wings with chopsticks, it will be fine.
