The world-famous hometown of longevity is either in the alpine region or in the remote mountainous area. Rugao, which is located in the Jianghai Plain, is not only the only longevity town in the coastal areas of China, but also the longevity town in the relatively developed industrial areas. 2. Ancient Lianyuan
China Rupai bonsai Garden, an ancient garden, was founded in the late Ming Dynasty, formerly known as Huling Garden. Zheng Banqiao, one of the "Eight Eccentrics of Yangzhou" in the 25th year of Qing Qianlong, renamed it "Gu Lian Garden". It is now turned into Rupai bonsai Garden in China, which has a large number of Rupai fine bonsai since the Song Dynasty, including Cooper bonsai with a tree age of 1000 years and the largest five-needle pine bonsai in the world, and is known as "Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties, seeing the present from ancient times".
3. Hanbyeokdang Pavillion
Hanbyeokdang Pavillion is the main hall of the Water Painting Garden. It is said that "there is a forest pool behind the hall", and the south is opposite to the main water surface of the basin-washing pool. "Forest" refers to the white pine forest behind the hall. Because the Gu Song is covered with clouds, it is as dry as snow and stands under the tree, and it feels chilly, so it is named "Hanbi". At that time, the host entertained guests, listened to music and watched the opera here. The present Hanbyeokdang Pavillion was rebuilt on the original site in 1987. There is a small earth slope in the west of Hanbyeokdang Pavillion, where bamboos are planted all over the place, and it is named "Miao Yin Xiang Lin", which is full of Zen.
4, wash bowl pool
Zeng Zhao, the brother of Ceng Gong, a great scholar in the Song Dynasty and one of the eight masters in the Tang and Song Dynasties, lived in Rugao with his father when he was a child, where he studied writing and washed bowls. Chen Weisong's Water Painting Garden: "Song Zunsu washed bowls here because he thought it was famous." Xibochi was originally the release pond of the Buddhist temple in the Tang Dynasty, and it has always been the most important water feature in the water painting garden. In the early Qing Dynasty, the famous poet Shi Runzhang wrote the poem "Water paints a pool in front of the nunnery, and the flowers are fragrant and fragrant for ten miles", describing the lotus scenery of the pool and lake in that year.
5. Hanging peak
The most important landscape in the water painting garden is the overhanging peaks and overlapping stones. It is recorded that "thousands of rocks are peaks and mountains, and the ground is clear, and the mountains are covered with flowers". The name of the overhanging peak is originally one of the 72 peaks in Hengyue, Hunan Province. Take the risk of crossing the border and pile it up because you love its scenery. There is a hanging mountain house at the foot of the hanging mountain. Whenever it rains, you can smell the sound of waterfalls pouring down from the hanging mountain.
