Introduction of enterovirus 7 1
Enteroviruses are generally named by numbers, and the order in which they are arranged represents the order in which they are found. Enterovirus 7 1 is the virus that causes hand, foot and mouth disease; HFMD) is one of the main pathogens. Human enterovirus 7 1 was first isolated from the feces of infants with central nervous system diseases in California in 1969. These viruses can be found in rhesus monkey kidney cells (rhesus monkey kidney cells; RhMK) and human fetal diploid cells. If the specimen is taken from the feces and tissues of patients, it is a diploid strain of human fetal kidney cells; HFDK) culture; For throat swab samples, diploid strains of human fetal lung cells were used for culture. Through the analysis of pure fungal virus after culturing these cells, typical cytopathic effects (cytopathic effects; CPE) phenomenon, electron microscope observation, its morphology and physical and chemical characteristics were similar to other known enteroviruses at that time, but after neutralization antibody test or immunodiffusion test, it was found that there was no interaction between them, so it was speculated that the virus found at that time was a new type of enterovirus, so the virus strain was named CPE.
