Where is your hometown? What special food can you recommend?
My hometown is a small county in Xuzhou, northern Jiangsu Province. Although the economic development there is backward relative to the whole Jiangsu Province, it carries my childhood, where I was born and raised, and is the memory of my carefree childhood. I love my hometown. There are many delicious foods in my hometown, many of which range from snacks to big ones. Although they are not tall things, they are still the best in my heart until now, and they are the hometown flavor that I can't forget when I go to the ends of the earth. Today, I will share with you some delicious food from my hometown. Friends who have been to my hometown can try it.

1, diguo chicken

Diguo chicken is a dish that originated in Xuzhou, Xiaoxian, Huaibei, Zaozhuang, Jining, Fuyang and Bozhou at the junction of Shandong, Jiangsu and Anhui provinces. Fishermen who used to work and rest on Weishan Lake often ate a pot of rice. Because of the limited conditions on board, cooking was often not very convenient. Fishermen brought a small earthen stove, sat in an iron pot on the stove, lit a fire with a few pieces of dry wood, cooked a pot of dishes according to the usual practice, and even covered their faces with cakes, which produced this cooking method of sharing meals-pot dishes, in which pot chicken is the representative, and the cakes are fragrant.

2. Fried buns

In my hometown, I basically eat pasta and rice, which is less than pasta. Among the many pasta dishes, fried buns have always been the first choice for many local people to have breakfast. We can see the steamed stuffed bun shop in the streets there. Pay attention to the steamed stuffed bun shop, which is a frontage house with a facade. Many of them are actually a tent set up outside the community, which is a steamed stuffed bun shop.

4, cylinder paste

Gangtie, produced in Xuzhou, is a traditional pasta in Xuzhou. In Xuzhou, it is the staple food after steamed bread. It is a big rectangle with honey and sesame seeds on the surface, soft and mellow. The baking method of jar paste is similar to that of naan in Xinjiang and hanging furnace sesame seed cake in the north. Different from the first two, it is baked in a sand pot and a furnace with smokeless coke as fuel, so its flavor and taste are more special.

5. Dog meat

Fan Shi dog meat, also known as year-old dog meat, is commonly known as Pei County dog meat. Cooked dog meat in the market is brownish red, with bright color, fragrant smell, delicious taste, tough but not stiff, rotten but not greasy, which has high nutritional value and medicinal function of helping digestion. If you want to eat authentic Pei County dog meat, you must not eat vacuum-packed dog meat. Find some stalls to sell and tear in the street, so that dog meat tastes better.

6. Xuzhou rice noodles

Xuzhou rice noodles combine the characteristics of local snacks, and the seasoning is fresh and thick. It is similar to the cold noodles in Fengxian and Peixian (mainly Peixian) in Xuzhou, but it is different. Unlike rice noodles in the south, Xuzhou rice noodles contain starch in addition to rice noodles.

7. Peixian cold noodles

Peixian cold noodles, which originated from Korean nationality, are named after the need of cold food. Later, it spread to Pei County. Because cold food is not suitable for all seasons, it was later changed to cold and hot food. After different production methods of various businesses, the taste is not the same. Up to now, it has become a characteristic local snacks in Pei County.
