"Birdsong Stream" expresses the author's love for the spring scenery in the mountains or the feeling of idleness and tranquility, the state of mind of forgetfulness, and the hidden wish to abandon the world.

The Birdsong Stream is the first of a group of poems composed by the Tang Dynasty poet Wang Wei, called Huangfu Yue Yunxi Miscellaneous Questions.

Original text: The osmanthus blossoms fall in idleness, the night is quiet and the spring mountains are empty. The moonrise startles the birds in the mountains, and sometimes they sing in the spring streams.

Translation: In the silence of the night, fragrant osmanthus flowers gently fall. The green mountains and blue forests are even more silent. The moon rises, startling a few perched mountain birds. The clear chirping of the birds echoed in the empty mountain streams for a long time.

This poem depicts the quiet and beautiful scenery of a spring night in the mountains, focusing on the tranquility and beauty of the mountains at night. The whole poem focuses on the word "quiet", which is very similar to a landscape sketch.

The poet uses the flowers falling, moonrise, birdsong, and other moving scenery to highlight the quietness of the mountains on a moonlit night, achieving the artistic effect of setting off the quietness with movement, and vividly sketching out the poetic and pictorial picture of a bat, "Birdsong Mountain is even more secluded".
