How to make perfect lotus root starch?
First, put a proper amount of water in the steamer, put it in the steamer rack and bring it to a boil.
While the steamer is boiling water, take a small bowl that you usually eat, pour in lotus root starch, and then pour in a proper amount of cold water until it is about 80% full.
Attention! ! This cold boiled water must be normal temperature or cold, not hot water.
Lotus root starch is stirred and dissolved with cold boiled water.
After the water is boiled, put the mixed lotus root starch into a steamer and steam for about 3 minutes. It is suggested to use medium fire to large fire here.
Halfway through, you can lift the lid to see if the lotus root starch has become transparent. Probably most of them become transparent as shown in the figure, and only a small amount of muddy beige can be cooked by turning off the fire.
