Reed bud fishing can generally catch snakehead, catfish, pouty white, mandarin fish, Mongolian red _, horse mouth, tilapia and so on. The species selection in Lu Ya is simply some predatory fish with fierce temperament. Cold water fish such as pike and salmon are very good target fish in Lu Ya at high latitudes.

If the weather is right, some wild docile fish will attack the reed bud fish, such as carp, herring, grass carp, silver carp, silver carp and so on. However, the target species of reed bud fish are more abundant in seawater, and almost all marine fish can become excellent target species of reed bud fish.
