Yongchun bergamot tea has the appearance of fat cords, heavy curls or round knots, the color is dark sand green or dark green, slightly shiny; the internal aroma is rich or fragrant, and it is a high-quality product. It has a fragrance like snow pear, and the top grade has a fragrance of fragrant rafters; the taste is mellow and sweet, with distinctive variety characteristics; it is resistant to brewing, and the soup is orange-yellow, bright and clear; the bottom of the leaves is thick, soft and bright, with red edges. Drinking it will stimulate saliva in the mouth and make the throat feel sweet and moist.

Yongchun Bergamot is harvested and processed in four seasons throughout the year. Spring tea is from mid-April to mid-May; summer tea is from early June to late June; summer tea is from early July to late August; autumn tea is from September onwards. The output of each season accounts for the proportion of the annual output, with spring tea accounting for 40%, summer, summer, and autumn tea accounting for 20% each.
