1. Take fresh zongzi leaves and trim them.
2. Wash the trimmed leaves in clean water.
3. Boil the washed leaves in water for two minutes and take them out for later use. Wash glutinous rice, mung beans and candied dates for later use. Cotton thread and scissors are ready.
4. Take out a piece of zongzi leaf and fold it into an awl.
5. Put a proper amount of glutinous rice, mung beans and candied dates into the cone-shaped hole of zongye.
6. Wrap the leaves of rice dumplings with glutinous rice, dates and mung beans.
7. Wrap the wrapped zongzi with cotton thread and cut off the remaining thread with scissors.
8. Wrap all the zongzi according to the above process, put them in a pot and add enough water to cook for more than 3 minutes. Serve immediately.
