Tieguanyin tea, a traditional Chinese tea, belongs to the green tea category and is one of the top ten famous teas in China. It is native to Xiping Town, Anxi County, Quanzhou City, Fujian Province and was discovered in 1723-1735. Tieguanyin is both the name of tea and the name of tea tree species. Tieguanyin tea is between green tea and black tea and belongs to semi-fermented tea. Tieguanyin has a unique "Guanyin charm", delicate fragrance and elegant charm. After brewing, it has a natural orchid fragrance, a pure and strong taste, and a fragrant and long-lasting aroma. It has the reputation of "seven brews have a lingering fragrance".
Tieguanyin contains high levels of amino acids, vitamins, minerals, tea polyphenols and alkaloids. It has a variety of nutritional and medicinal ingredients and has health care functions. In the 8th year of the Republic of China, it was introduced from Anxi, Fujian Province to Muzha District for trial planting. It was divided into two types: "Red Heart Tieguanyin" and "Green Heart Tieguanyin".
How to brew Tieguanyin
Take an appropriate amount of tea leaves. You can choose the weight of the tea leaves according to your personal preference, usually 8 grams. Place it in a tureen, brew it with boiling water, and The water temperature of Tieguanyin should be 100 degrees boiling water.
