Mesona blume is also called Xianrencao, Xianrendong, Xiancao, and fish yellow grass with pointed calyx. Nutlets oval, flowering in late autumn.
Growth habit: I like warm and humid climate. When the temperature reaches above 20℃ on that day, it grows vigorously; when the average daily temperature is below 15℃, it grows slowly; when it is below 10℃, it is difficult to grow; when it is below 0℃, the overground part dies and overwinters with perennial roots. Avoid drought and stagnant water. During the growth and development, abundant rain can often achieve high yield, but if soaked in stagnant water for more than 2 days, it will cause root rot. It is shade-tolerant, and grows well in the light environment with sunshine time less than 8 hours. The requirements for soil conditions are not strict, but it is better to use deep, fertile, loose, moist sandy loam rich in humus, and the plants growing in arid and barren soil are short and slow.
