Starting from 19 15, the founder of dawangkui farm spent two years making full use of the rich spring water resources in the wasteland which was only gravel at that time.

King Wasabi Farm used to be the shooting place of the film Dream directed by internationally renowned director Akira Kurosawa. Those simple waterwheels built for filming are still in the vegetable garden, and many tourists come here to experience the scenes in the film. The crown prince and crown princess of Japan have also been there.
