Adenophora
Efficacy: Nourish yin and moisturize the lungs, benefit the stomach and promote fluid production.
Indications: 1. Lung yin deficiency syndrome. This product is sweet and moist but tends to be bitter and cold. It can replenish lung yin and clear lung heat. It is suitable for dry cough with less phlegm, coughing up blood, dry throat and hoarse voice due to yin deficiency and dryness of the lung with heat. It is often used together with similar medicines that nourish yin, moisten the lungs, clear the lungs, relieve coughs, relieve asthma, and soothe the throat, such as Ophiopogon japonicus, South Adenophora ginseng, almonds, mulberry leaves, and Scrophulariaceae.
2. Stomach yin deficiency syndrome. This product can replenish stomach yin, produce fluid and quench thirst, and clear stomach heat. Indications
1. Cough due to lung heat. Take half a liang of A. ginseng and decoct it in water.
