Wenshui Town is located in the east of Xishui County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, bordering Shihao Town in Qijiang County at the junction of Guizhou and Chongqing. It borders Shihao Town to the east, Xianyuan Town and Shuanglong Township to the south, and Liangliang Town to the west. Villages and towns, Sanchahe Township, and Dapo Township in the north. It is the political, economic and cultural center in eastern Xishui and an important border town in northern Guizhou.
