Diuretic dampness and invigorating the spleen; relax muscles and remove paralysis; clear away heat and expel pus. Effects of mung bean: used for upset, thirst, fever caused by fever or summer heat; hot stranguria, difficulty in urination, edema, or damp-heat diarrhea; damp-heat sores. [Preparation] Remove impurities from barley and mung beans and wash them separately; break the lily into pieces, tear off the inner membrane and wash them. Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot, turn on the heat, add the mung beans first, cook until the beans are cooked, add barley, cook until almost cooked, then add an appropriate amount of sugar.
