Tusi site witnessed the unique management wisdom of ancient China, as a unified multi-ethnic country, in the multi-ethnic areas in southwest China, that is, "uniting politics to cultivate education and governing according to customs". This management wisdom promotes the sustainable development of ethnic areas, contributes to the long-term reunification of the country, and is of outstanding significance to maintaining the inheritance of ethnic cultural diversity.

Tusi's heritage series is typical and relevant in historical time and space, social background, cultural connotation, heritage attributes and material remains. * * * reflects the history of the Tusi system in China and the lifestyle and cultural characteristics of the Tusi society, and bears witness to the traditional concept of a multi-ethnic unified country, namely, "unified farming education, governing according to customs".
