Peony is really a beautiful and gorgeous flower, slightly inferior to peony, but it is also a perfect flower plant. If there is enough balcony space and light at home, you may wish to raise a pot of peony.
When were peony flowers planted?
Paeonia lactiflora is mainly propagated by ramets, and the best planting time of ramets is from the beginning of September to the end of 10. During this period, the ground temperature is higher than the air temperature, which is beneficial to the wound healing and new root germination of peony. If the plant is divided too early, Paeonia lactiflora can germinate and emerge in the same year, and if it is divided too late, Paeonia lactiflora cannot germinate new roots.

When planting in separate plants, dig out the whole peony with a shovel, observe the root system of peony, shovel it down along the natural texture of peony root system with a shovel to ensure that there are at least 2-5 buds in each cluster, then apply plant ash to the wound and dry it in a cool and ventilated place.

Paeonia lactiflora can be seeded and propagated in addition to ramets. Usually, the seeds of Paeonia lactiflora mature in August, and then are sown in the middle and late September, or stored in sand after drying in the shade.
