A poignant Greek myth.

Legend has it that Daphne (the goddess of the laurel) was a very beautiful goddess who was in love with Apollo, the eldest son of Zeus. Finally, one day Apollo finally could not resist his love for the goddess of the laurel, her pursuit. But because Apollo himself is the sun god, the body gathered a lot of heat energy, make laurel unbearable, once * close to the risk of burning skin. So every time Apollo chased Laurel, she would hide. And so, chasing and dodging, but this is not the way to go, and finally Laurel can't take it anymore, and she screams for help. Her father, who couldn't bear to see his daughter suffer so much, split the earth in two. Cinnamon jumped and became a tree that grew out of the crack. From then on, the tree was called Laurel. Apollo didn't know the reason and thought that Laurel would rather become a tree than be with him. Until one day, he suddenly realized that it was because he was too hot that Laurel turned into a big tree. Apollo vowed to leave a shelter for Laurel forever. That's what we now know as sunspots, the eternal shade left in the heart of the sun god, the shade he left for the laurel. ....
