The story of Daphne

A poignant Greek myth.

Legend has it that Daphne (the goddess of the laurel) was a very beautiful goddess who was in love with Apollo, the eldest son of Zeus. Finally, one day Apollo finally could not resist his love for the goddess of the laurel, her pursuit.
