How to make gel electrophoresis?
1. Preparation of 1% agarose gel (70ml for large gel and 50ml for small gel): Weigh 0.7 g(0.5 g) of agarose and put it in a conical flask, add 70 ml(50ml) 1×TAE, invert the bottle mouth and put it in a small beaker. Heat and boil it in a microwave oven for 3 times until the agarose is all.

2. Preparation of rubber plate: clean the plexiglass inner tank (rubber making tank) in the electrophoresis tank, dry it, and put it into the rubber making glass plate. Take transparent tape to seal the glass plate and the edges of both ends of the inner tank to form a mold. Place the inner tank in a horizontal position and put the comb in a fixed position. Mix the agarose gel solution cooled to about 65℃ and carefully pour it into the glass plate of the inner tank to make the glue solution slowly spread. Until a uniform glue layer is formed on the whole glass plate surface. Let it stand at room temperature until the gel is completely solidified. Gently pull out the comb vertically, take off the adhesive tape, and put the gel and the inner tank into the electrophoresis tank. Add 1×TAE electrophoresis buffer until it does not pass through the glue plate.
