I swear it's an asparagus, definitely not a manzanita, I grow both myself, how can I be mistaken!
Look at the pictures: the top one is asparagus, the bottom one is bromeliad (their leaves are different)
Here's how to grow asparagus
? I think watering every 3 days to keep the soil moist and placing it by a window so it gets enough sunlight is the most important.
? Note that it doesn't like strong direct sunlight at 12 o'clock and don't put it next to a computer desk, too much radiation.
? You can cut off the dead branches to make room for new ones. Note that the branches with leaves can not be cut, just trim off the dead side branches.
? You can put a small tray at the bottom of the pot, and when you water, see if the water leaks from the pot into the tray, and stop watering if the tray has started to get water. (You can water again after a few days when there is no water in the pot and the surface of the soil is dry.)
? It is recommended that you always put the flower by the window, otherwise the flower can easily be drowned by the first time keeper who watered too much. (Indoor flowers should be watered only once in 1~2 weeks.)
