Plant morphological hairy abacus
Shrub, much branched, with branches densely covered with yellow and spreading coarse hairs. Leaves alternate, ovate or ovate-lanceolate, 4-5 cm long, rarely 7 cm wide1.5-3.5 cm, tapering at the apex, wedge-shaped at the base, coarse hairs on both sides, and yellow hairs on the veins; Petiole short, densely covered with yellow hairs; Stipules taper. The flowers are unisexual, and the male flowers are born in bundles in the axils of leaves with short stalks; Sepals 6, oblong, slightly obtuse, ca. 2 mm long, outside coarsely hairy; 3 anthers. Female flowers are sessile and usually solitary, with 5-loculed ovary, coarse hair, short style, oblong, upright and adhesive. Capsule oblate, pressed in at the top, coarsely hairy, with a diameter of 8 ~10mm. Flowering in April.
