Gun structure

The final sample gun mass of M249 is only 6.83 kg, the total gun length is 1.040mm, the replaceable barrel mass is 1.6kg ... During the selection process, more than 500,000 bullets were fired from 29 sample guns of FN Company. Although the life of the watch case is set at 50,000 rounds, there are still some test samples that continue to launch after exceeding this limit without any technical failure.
