"Several Chrysanthemums" completely reproduces the history of Zhong from reform and opening up to the new century, with a time span of 50 years and a bumpy fate. The role of "Ju Xiang", the soul figure in the play, also made Luo Haiqiong change her face for the first time, playing a village girl.
Luo Haiqiong, who has successfully created many classic roles such as "Ying Gu", "Black Grape" and "Zhu Zhu", has turned a girl who is naturally optimistic and cheerful into a kind and simple rural girl, and resolutely fell in love with Gao Hongqi, a young man who jumped the queue, regardless of the pursuit of happiness by village cadre Li.
But in the play, "Juxiang" didn't get the good life it deserved. When Ju Xiang fell in love with Gao Hongqi, Gao Hongqi was transferred back to the city. From then on, they lived far apart, and Ju Xiang looked at the door every day, hoping that Gao Hongqi would come back to pick herself up. Only then did she realize that she was pregnant with a tall child.
Ju Xiang is kind and selfless, and her life is bumpy, but no matter how difficult and unfortunate, Ju Xiang is still considerate of others everywhere and firmly bears everything. In order to send his son to college, he went to the county seat to work as a temporary worker in a quartz sand factory. A year later, Ju Xiang fainted at work and was taken to the hospital for diagnosis of silicosis stage II.
The plot of Several Chrysanthemums is complicated and touching. Faced with suffering, humiliation, money and fame, all people have different lifestyles. Everyone has been baptized by the soul to restore the truth, goodness, beauty, falsehood and ugliness, and their fate is closely linked with the fate of the nation-state.
It is impossible for young people in the new era to let the audience of their parents relive the history that is indelible for many people and affects their lives.
