In restaurants and fast food stores, there are basically no foods suitable for people with gastric ulcers and other gastrointestinal diseases, but there are a lot of things that are not good for gastrointestinal diseases, such as rice and noodles. If you can't eat lunch at home, it's best to bring a boxed lunch made at home. But if you have to eat out, pay attention to the following:
(1)
Choose foods that are easy to digest and less irritating. Fried foods are not easily digested in the stomach and are best avoided. Even if the original well-digested white fish and potatoes, etc., with deep-fried digestion time will be much longer, increasing the burden on the stomach, if you really want to eat, it is best to peel off the outside of a layer of fried yellow skin.
(2)
Dishes and soups with strong chili peppers and other stimulating spices should also be avoided. Chili peppers and the like should be picked out of the dish first. Foods that are too hot or too cold can irritate the stomach lining, and such foods should be eaten by holding them in the mouth until they are close to body temperature before swallowing.
(3)
Egg-based foods such as egg sandwiches, egg noodles and omelets are easily digestible and can be enjoyed.
(4)
There is nothing wrong with fish made into sashimi, boiled, broiled or steamed fish to eat, but octopus, cuttlefish, shellfish and dried fish that are not well digested are best avoided.
Outside at most one meal in a day in a restaurant or fast food restaurant meals, usually more rice or noodles, the amount of vegetables is less, it is easy to cause vitamin and mineral deficiencies, so it is important to eat more boiled or stir-fried vegetables, and outside the meal protein intake is definitely insufficient.
(5)
Take more time to eat slowly. Lunchtime is usually crowded everywhere, there is no atmosphere where you can chew slowly, but for people with stomach ulcers, eating in a hurry is not good. It's best to stagger your meals and choose a place where you can eat in peace. Eating lunch should be at least 30 minutes or more, chewing carefully, so that saliva can be fully mixed with food to promote digestion and reduce the burden on the stomach.
(6)
Eat until you are 80% full. Eat only until you are 80% full or 60% full, but do not drink too much food. But eating out, especially eating out at night is always a big meal, unknowingly over-eating or over-drinking. If you have such a habit you should pay attention to it beforehand and control yourself strictly.
