Because dogs fail to pass the epidemic prevention test, they are not allowed to operate dog meat restaurants. The Law of the People's Republic of China on the Protection of Wild Animals stipulates that those who illegally kill wild animals under special state protection shall be investigated for criminal responsibility in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Criminal Law.
