First, planting time
Pea tips are divided into spring peas and autumn peas. The planting time of pea tip in spring is in the middle of autumn (10), and it will be harvested when the pea seedling height reaches 16-20 cm in the following spring. Autumn pea tips are planted in summer, around early August, and can be harvested from late September to early June.
Second, the whole soil is fine, and the root system of pea tip is weak, which is suitable for growing in loose and fertile soil. You can choose a place with deep soil and convenient watering. When preparing soil, dig deep into the soil and rake it carefully to remove clods and weeds in the soil. Only suitable soil can make pea tips grow well and promote roots to take root deeper.
Third, prepare seeds.
There are many varieties of peas. Selecting suitable varieties requires thick seed coat, smooth surface and strong disease resistance. Selecting excellent seeds can improve the germination rate. Before sowing and planting, the seeds need to be treated, which can be soaked in warm water for about one night, and then germinated after the seeds absorb water, which can help the seedlings to emerge in an orderly manner and shorten the germination time.
Fourth, planting
Sow pea seeds evenly, plant them reasonably closely, keep a certain distance, dig holes in the soil in advance, sow 3-5 peas in each hole, cover them with thin fine soil after sowing, and do a good job in maintenance management after growing.
