Milk-cooked cereal can be pure milk or milk powder. Boiling will not affect the original nutrition of milk. The method of cooking oatmeal with milk is as follows:
Add an appropriate amount of water to the pot, usually one bowl of oats and two bowls of water. Bring water to a boil and add oats.
After boiling over high heat, reduce to low heat and cook until the oats become sticky. Then pour in the milk and cook together, and cook over low heat for a while.
When the oats are about to turn off the heat, add a small amount of sugar and serve.
Nutritional value of oatmeal:
Oatmeal is rich in carbohydrates. After cooking, the calories of oatmeal will become very low. Each bowl of oatmeal (about 240 ml) contains only 130 kcal. Oats are rich in vitamin B1 and vitamin E, but the niacin content is much lower than that of wheat.
Oats mainly contain carbohydrates, protein (containing all essential amino acids), fat, and a large amount of plant fiber, vitamin B1 and vitamin B12, a small amount of vitamin E, minerals, riboflavin and saponin.
Oats contain hormone-like substances that have stimulant and anesthetic effects, and are a natural "stimulant food".
