Mahuang Guizhi, Chaihu, Baihu Chengqi Decoction, Sijunzi Siwu Decoction, Liuwei Dihuang, etc.
All the prescriptions in this part are from Treatise on Febrile Diseases and Synopsis of the Golden Chamber. Mahuang Decoction and Guizhi Decoction were originally the main prescriptions for exogenous cold, but after various additions and subtractions, a huge prescription system was changed, which is not only effective for exogenous diseases, but also has a very significant effect on treating various internal injuries.
1. Mahuang decoction:
① Mahuang decoction consists of ephedra, cassia twig, almond, licorice, ginger, jujube and other drugs, and is used to treat exterior syndrome of wind-cold with symptoms of headache, fever, aversion to cold, body pain, anhidrosis and tight pulse;
Through a large number of clinical data and experiments, it is proved that this prescription has a certain inhibitory effect on cold virus, thus proving that the so-called wind-cold exterior syndrome of the ancients is basically the virus infection mentioned by western medicine;
② This recipe, with gypsum, is Daqinglong Decoction, which is mainly used to treat headache, body pain, fever, aversion to cold, aversion to cold, thirst, irritability and tight pulse. This recipe is the main recipe of exterior-interior heat, that is, wind-cold exterior syndrome turns into internal heat.
It is always effective to treat upper respiratory tract infection with this recipe, and it is more effective to add honeysuckle, forsythia, Gongying and Patrinia.
③ Daqinglong Decoction is named Ma (Huang) Xing (Ren) Shi (Gao) Gan (Cao) Decoction without cassia twig, ginger and jujube, which is said by Chinese medicine to be suitable for four major syndromes of upset, asthma, thirst and cough.
From the point of view of modern medicine, this prescription is suitable for all bronchial and pulmonary infections, including acute and chronic bronchitis, bronchopneumonia, emphysema, pulmonary heart disease and so on.
(4) Maxingshi dry soup is used to remove almond-named moon pulse soup, which is mainly used to divide water and is swollen all over.
Close experience can treat acute and chronic nephritis and various endocrine edema.
⑤ Mahuang Decoction, which removes cassia twig, is called San 'ao Decoction, which is used to treat wind-cold, cough and wheezing.
⑥ Mahuang decoction plus Atractylodes macrocephala and Mingmahuang decoction plus Shutang are used to treat various rheumatic pains;
⑦ Mahuang decoction is called Mahuang almond coix seed licorice soup, which is used to treat rheumatic pain and fever.
⑧ Mahuang Fuzi Asarum Decoction is the main prescription of yang deficiency and cold coagulation syndrome, which can treat headache, fever, aversion to cold and sweating, and deep and thin pulse.
It is believed that this prescription has a good curative effect on all viral upper respiratory tract infections, especially for those with physical deficiency and hypotension, and also has a certain curative effect on sick sinus syndrome.
(9) Remove the above Asari, add licorice, and name it Mahuang Fuzi Glycyrrhiza Decoction, which has the same effect as Mahuang Fuzi Asarum Decoction, but its effect of relieving exterior cold is weak.
Guizhi decoction is known as the "crown of all prescriptions", and its prescription is Treatise on Febrile Diseases, which is composed of cassia twig, white peony root, licorice, ginger, jujube and other drugs. It is mainly used to treat headache, fever, aversion to cold, sweating and tight pulse, which is the syndrome of wind-cold exterior deficiency, that is, modern cold and common cold. The main application of this prescription is not to treat colds, but to treat a series of internal injuries related to autonomic nervous dysfunction through addition and subtraction.
(1) Magnolia Officinalis, almond and cassia twig are added to this prescription to thicken almond to treat cold and wheezing;
(2) Adding the famous Radix Puerariae decoction to the prescription can cure exterior deficiency and strengthen the neck.
(3) This recipe belongs to Radix Paeoniae Alba, and Guizhi Guibai Decoction is used to treat superficial deficiency, pulse count and chest fullness;
④ This prescription is added with aconite root, which is called Guizhi Fuzi Decoction, and is used for patients with mild acute limbs and unfavorable flexion and extension;
In addition, there are three groups of prescriptions that are widely used in clinic and have definite curative effect, which are usually considered as Guizhi decoction.
① Gui Ling Shugan Decoction
A. (Fu) (Zhi) (Bai) Shugan (Cao) Decoction: Indications: Full mind, rushing to the heart with qi, and dizziness at the beginning. As vibration, this is the syndrome of spleen deficiency and phlegm retention;
From the perspective of modern medicine, this syndrome may include heart disease, heart failure, gastrointestinal dysfunction and so on.
B. This recipe removes cassia twig and adds dried ginger, which is called Shenzhe Decoction, to treat cold pain caused by cold and dampness;
C. This Baizhu Jujube Poria Guizhi Gancao Jujube Decoction is used to treat sub-umbilical palpitations and wants to be a dolphin;
D. This prescription is called Ji Fang Fuling Decoction after removing Atractylodes macrocephala and adding Astragalus, which is used to treat skin water, limb swelling, skin water and limb movement;
E. This recipe is added with Atractylodes macrocephala and ginger, which is called Poria and Glycyrrhiza Decoction, and is used to treat typhoid fever.
② Wuling powder formula
A. Wuling powder: It consists of Poria, Polyporus, Atractylodes macrocephala, Alisma orientalis, Ramulus Cinnamomi, etc. It is mainly used to treat exogenous wind-cold and water-dampness stagnation. Clinically, it is mainly used to treat headache, fever, aversion to cold, dysuria, edema and weight.
From the point of view of modern medicine, this prescription is suitable for all edema patients, including cardiogenic edema, hepatic edema, renal edema and so on.
B. This prescription removes cassia twig and is named Sini Powder, which is mainly used to treat edema, internal injury, diet, astringent urine, difficulty in salivation and abdominal distension;
F. Chen Yin Wuling Powder is added to this prescription to treat damp-heat jaundice and dysuria;
G. This prescription removes Guizhi and Alisma orientalis, which is called Zhu Ling Powder, to treat supradiaphragmatic diseases and vomit and drink;
H. Jia Zhusha, named Zhusha Wuling Powder, is used to treat urination;
First, add Atractylodes rhizome, named Atractylodes rhizome Wuling powder, to treat cold and dampness;
J. Adding Notopterygium root, named Rong Yuan Wuling powder, to treat heat accumulation in middle energizer;
K. Gypsum, talc and water-bearing stones, named Gui Ling Ganluyin, clear the heat of six fu organs;
Length ginseng, named Chunze decoction; Adding licorice and four gentlemen, also known as Chunze decoction, can cure thirst without disease or thirst with poor disease.
Most of the prescriptions in this department come from Treatise on Febrile Diseases and synopsis of the Golden Chamber, and its representative prescriptions, Xiaochaihu Decoction, Sini Powder and Xiaoyao Powder, all belong to the category of traditional Chinese medicine blending agents.
1. Chaihu decoction
① Xiaochaihu decoction, as a representative prescription for regulating shaoyang, is composed of seven herbs, such as firewood, Qin, ginseng, grass, ginger, summer and jujube, and is mainly used to treat shaoyang syndrome, that is, half exterior syndrome and half interior syndrome. The clinical manifestations are bitter mouth, dry throat, dizziness, cold and fever, fullness in chest and hypochondrium, upset and nausea, hey hey, no appetite, thin and white pulse.
From the point of view of modern medicine, this syndrome is similar to the clinical manifestations of systemic reactivity of subacute and chronic inflammation. Therefore, people use Xiaochaihu decoction to treat subacute and chronic processes of cholecystitis, hepatitis, pancreatitis, pleurisy, pelvic inflammatory disease, arthritis, gastritis and enteritis, and often achieve satisfactory results. Through changeable addition and subtraction, this prescription can also be handy for symptomatic treatment of other diseases.
Addition and subtraction: chest tightness, no vomiting, going to the Pinellia Party to participate in Trichosanthes;
Abdominal pain, removing Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi and adding Radix Paeoniae Alba;
Under a whip, add oysters to the dates;
Palpitation, dysuria, Scutellaria baicalensis Georgi and Poria cocos;

② Chaihu Guizhi Decoction: Xiaochaihu Decoction plus Guizhi, the indications are too few syndromes, namely Xiaochaihu Decoction and Guizhi Decoction. The clinical manifestations are bitter mouth, dry throat, string eyes, cold and fever, fullness in chest and hypochondrium, upset and nausea, hey hey, loss of appetite, headache and fever, and aversion to cold.
③ Dachaihu decoction: Xiaochaihu decoction removes codonopsis pilosula, and adds Fructus Aurantii Immaturus, Radix et Rhizoma Rhei and Radix Paeoniae Alba to treat the syndrome of shaoyang Yangming. The clinical manifestations are bitter mouth, dry throat, string eyes, alternating cold and heat, pain in chest and hypochondrium, vexation and vomiting, aversion to food and drink, depression, whiplash, abdominal distension and pain, dry stool, yellow and thick tongue coating and strong pulse.
④ Compound Dachaihu Decoction: Dachaihu Decoction plus Fructus Toosendan, Rhizoma Corydalis, Radix Aucklandiae and Gongying can treat acute cholecystitis, ulcer perforation, etc.
⑤ Chaihu plus Gulong Oyster Decoction: Xiaochaihu Decoction plus Poria, Lead, Ramulus Cinnamomi, Rhubarb, Raw Gulong and Raw Oyster is mainly used for treating the syndrome of three yang, and the spirit floats in the yang. The clinical manifestation is "typhoid fever * * * day, chest full of annoyance, delirium and heavy body".
⑥ Chaihu Shenxiong Decoction: Xiaochaihu Decoction is added with Fructus Trichosanthis, Rhizoma Coptidis and Fructus Aurantii Immaturus to treat cold and heat, chest and diaphragm fullness, pressing pain, bitter taste and yellow fur.
⑦ Chaiping Decoction: Xiaochaihu Decoction plus Wei Ping Powder (Rhizoma Atractylodis, Cortex Magnolia Officinalis, Pericarpium Citri Tangerinae and Radix Glycyrrhizae) is used to treat stagnation of liver qi and chest pain.
⑧ Chaihu plus mirabilite soup: that is, Xiaochaihu soup plus mirabilite is used to treat "typhoid fever for thirteen days, full stomach".
9 Chaihu Guizhi Ganjiang Decoction: Xiaochaihu Decoction removes Pinellia tuber, ginger and jujube, and adds Guizhi, dried ginger, pollen and oyster to treat "fullness and slight knot in chest and hypochondrium, unfavorable urination, thirst without vomiting, sweating on the head, cold and fever".
2. Sini Sanfang
① Sini Powder: it is the representative prescription of this kind of prescription, and it is the main prescription for harmonizing liver and spleen and exterior and interior. The prescription is composed of Bupleurum, Fructus Aurantii Immaturus, Radix Paeoniae Alba and Radix Glycyrrhizae. According to Treatise on Febrile Diseases, this prescription is mainly used for "shaoyin disease, four adverse reactions, people can cough, palpitation, dysuria, abdominal pain, or diarrhea." It shows that this recipe can treat colds in limbs caused by systemic diseases.
Through clinical practice, later doctors thought that the above indications could be summarized as regulating exterior and interior, aiming at harmonizing exterior and interior yin and yang, and relieving limb cold.
From the point of view of modern medicine, this syndrome belongs to cold hands and feet with autonomic nervous dysfunction, which can be caused by diseases of various systems in the whole body.
In addition, Sinisan can also regulate the liver and spleen. The so-called reconciliation of liver and spleen is to treat liver and stomach. The essence of disharmony between liver and stomach is bitter liver and dry throat, and its clinical manifestations are impatience, irritability and fullness in chest and hypochondrium. From the point of view of modern medicine, this prescription can treat chronic stomach diseases and chronic liver diseases.
② Chaihu Shugan Powder: Sini Powder plus Chuanxiong Rhizoma Cyperi is the first choice for liver depression and hypochondriac pain, and is suitable for all kinds of liver diseases.
① Xiaoyao Powder (Mixture Bureau Prescription) is a representative prescription of this kind of prescription, which is composed of Angelica sinensis, Radix Paeoniae Alba, Atractylodis Rhizoma, Poria, Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata, Bupleuri Radix and Herba Menthae, and is the main prescription for treating liver depression and spleen deficiency. Clinical indications are bitter mouth and dry throat, impatience and irritability, fullness in chest and hypochondrium, abdominal distension, loss of appetite and weakness.
From the perspective of modern medicine, this prescription is suitable for chronic liver diseases, stomach diseases, gallbladder and biliary tract diseases.
In addition, according to the theory that the liver governs chong and ren, this prescription is the main prescription for regulating menstruation in traditional Chinese medicine, and is suitable for menarche, staggered menstruation and irregular menstruation.
According to the theory that the liver begins to understand the purpose, this prescription is the main prescription for treating eye diseases in traditional Chinese medicine, and is suitable for diseases such as retina and retrobulbar optic nerve.
② Danzhi Xiaoyao Powder (Internal Medicine Abstracts): It is mainly used for the syndrome of liver depression and excessive fire.
③ Black Xiaoyao Powder: (Six Books on Medical Strategies: A Guide to Gynecology), adding Radix Rehmanniae Preparata to Xiaoyao Powder can increase the function of nourishing yin and enriching blood, and is mainly used for treating liver depression, spleen deficiency and qi and blood loss.
④ Hepatitis B powder: White peony root and Atractylodes macrocephala are scattered, and Ligusticum chuanxiong, Atractylodes lancea and Uncaria rhynchophylla are added, which are mainly used for treating liver depression, dryness and night restlessness.
Most of the prescriptions in this part are from Treatise on Febrile Diseases, which can be roughly divided into three groups: Baihu Decoction, Chengqi Decoction and Xiexin Decoction. In addition to the original prescription in Treatise on Febrile Diseases, later scholars, especially the typhoid school, have made a lot of supplements to the systematic prescription.
1. Baihutang
① Baihu Decoction is composed of gypsum, Anemarrhena asphodeloides, polished round-grained rice and licorice. It is a famous prescription in Treatise on Febrile Diseases and is mainly used to treat Yangming meridian syndrome (fever, thirst, sweating and pulse).
From the point of view of modern medicine, this prescription can cure all fever, that is, it is suitable for all kinds of infectious diseases and fever caused by various physical and chemical factors. Some people call this side the first side of TCM fever, which is not excessive.
② Ginseng and White Tiger Decoction: White Tiger Decoction plus ginseng is mainly used to treat excessive internal heat and deficiency of both qi and yin.
③ Baihu Decoction plus Guizhi Decoction: Baihu Decoction plus Guizhi Decoction is mainly used for "patients with warm malaria, with flat pulse, cold and hot body, joint pain and occasional vomiting." It can also be used to treat rheumatoid arthritis with fever and rapid ESR.
④ Baihu decoction plus Atractylodes rhizome decoction: Baihu decoction plus Atractylodes rhizome (active book) is mainly used to treat rheumatoid arthritis, joint swelling and pain, headache, upset, chest tightness and thirst.
⑤ Lingxi Baihu Decoction: White Tiger Decoction with antelope horn and rhinoceros horn (buffalo horn can be used instead). Mainly used for exogenous fever, deficiency of both qi and blood, high fever and excessive drinking, and delirium.
⑥ Huaban Decoction: White Tiger Decoction with Radix Scrophulariae and rhinoceros horn is mainly used for treating heat entering blood, delirium, macula and red tongue with yellow fur.
⑦ Bamboo Leaf Gypsum Soup: Use Ginseng White Tiger Soup to remove Anemarrhena asphodeloides, and add Pinellia ternata, Ophiopogon japonicus and bamboo leaves. It is mainly used to treat deficiency-heat and qi-yin injuries, with symptoms of hyperhidrosis, dry mouth and thirst, and qi deficiency and nausea.
From the point of view of modern medicine, this prescription is suitable for all patients with advanced fever, and patients have obvious autonomic nervous dysfunction and sympathetic hyperactivity.
2. Chengqi decoction
Most of these prescriptions are from Treatise on Febrile Diseases,
① Dachengqi Decoction is a representative prescription of this kind of prescription, which is composed of rhubarb, mirabilite, immature bitter orange and magnolia officinalis. Mainly used for Yangming fu-organs syndrome, which can be divided into four syndromes: fullness, dryness and excess.
From the point of view of modern medicine, this prescription can treat all acute abdomen, including appendicitis, intestinal obstruction, cholecystitis, pancreatitis and so on.
② Xiaochengqi decoction: Dachengqi decoction removes mirabilite, and is mainly used for chest fullness, yellow fur and slippery pulse.
③ Tiaowei Chengqi decoction: Dachengqi decoction removes Fructus Aurantii Immaturus and Cortex Magnolia Officinalis, and adds licorice to treat abdominal pain, with yellow tongue coating and slippery pulse.
(4) Sanhua Decoction ("Living Method"): Dachengqi Decoction removes mirabilite and adds Notopterygium root to treat stroke stool.
⑤ Geliang Powder (local prescription), Tiaowei Chengqi Decoction plus Scutellariae Radix, Fructus Forsythiae, Fructus Gardeniae, Herba Menthae, and honey are mainly used for treating lung and stomach fire, with symptoms of chest obstruction, constipation, expectoration of blood, sores on mouth and tongue, and yellow fur and rapid pulse.
⑥ Daxianzhong Decoction: Xiaochengqi Decoction removes licorice and increases sweetness. Prove that at least the abdominal whip is full of pain from the heart and cannot be approached. Dry stool, dry mouth, and small hot flashes.
⑦ Daxianxiong Pill: Daxianxiong decoction with prickly heat, almond and honey as pills has similar indications to Daxianxiong decoction, but its effect is mild, and it is suitable for patients with slow onset.
⑧ Taohe Chengqi Decoction: Taohe Guizhi Taowei Chengqi Decoction is mainly used to treat bladder blood storage syndrome, which is manifested as acute abdominal pain, such as madness, selfish urination and bloody stool.
(1) Xiexin decoction, composed of rhubarb, coptis root and scutellaria root, is mainly used to treat various diseases caused by fire pathogen, such as high fever, constipation, red discharge, yellow greasy tongue coating, rapid pulse, vexed heat in chest, jaundice, hematemesis, epistaxis and furuncle.
(2) Fructus Aurantii and Radix Aucklandiae are added to this prescription, and it is named Danpaishi Decoction No.2 (Dalian Medical College), which is mainly used for treating cholelithiasis and cholecystitis.
③ Fructus Aurantii Immaturus Decoction (Li Dongyuan): Fructus Aurantii Immaturus, Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae, Poria, and Alisma orientalis, which are mainly used to treat gastrointestinal obstruction due to damp-heat and dysentery.
④ Fuzi Xiexin Decoction: Xiexin Decoction plus Fuzi is mainly used to treat strain under the heart, aversion to cold and sweating.
⑤ Banxia Xiexin Decoction: Xiexin Decoction is mainly used to treat cold and heat complicated with gastrointestinal tract by removing rhubarb and adding Pinellia ternata, dried ginger, codonopsis pilosula, jujube and licorice. The clinical symptoms are neck sprain, nausea and vomiting and bowel sounds.
⑥ Gancao Xiexin Decoction: Banxia Xiexin Decoction is mainly indicated for vomiting, swelling, diarrhea, indigestion and restlessness.
⑦ Ginger Xiexin Decoction: Pinellia Xiexin Decoction reduces the dosage of dried ginger and adds ginger, which is mainly used for vomiting, swelling and pain, intestinal sound, dry choking and bad taste.
⑧ Gegen Qinlian Decoction: Xiexin Decoction removes rhubarb and adds Radix Puerariae and Radix Glycyrrhizae, which is mainly used to treat sweating and asthma, which is not good for body heat.
⑨ Huanglian Jiedu Decoction (the secret recipe of Waitai): Xiexin Decoction is mainly used to treat furuncle, abscess, erysipelas, alopecia and other heat-toxic syndromes by removing rhubarb and adding Cortex Phellodendri and Fructus Gardeniae.

⑾ Puji Disinfection Drink (Li Dongyuan): Xiexin Decoction removes rhubarb, and adds Radix Isatidis, Radix Scrophulariae, Fructus Arctii, Lasiosphaera Seu Bubali, Fructus Forsythiae, Pericarpium Citri Tangerinae, Radix Glycyrrhizae, Bombyx Batryticatus, Radix Bupleuri, Herba Menthae, Radix Platycodi, and Cimicifuga, which are mainly used for treating mumps, head-popping syndrome, erysipelas, etc.
This series of prescriptions refers to a series of prescriptions made of Sijunzi Decoction and Siwu Decoction. The two prescriptions are from "Mixture Bureau Prescription", and the four kings tonify qi and four things tonify blood, all of which belong to important prescriptions for strengthening the body resistance and consolidating the foundation. Sometimes they are seasoned separately to form a series of drugs for invigorating qi and nourishing blood; Sometimes the two combine with each other, forming both qi and blood. In a word, this prescription is an important series of traditional Chinese medicines for strengthening the body resistance and consolidating the foundation.
1. Sijunzi decoction
① Sijunzi Decoction is a famous prescription, which consists of four herbs: Codonopsis pilosula, Atractylodes macrocephala, Poria cocos and Glycyrrhiza uralensis Fisch. Its clinical manifestations are sallow complexion, loss of appetite, weakness, shortness of breath and laziness. This prescription is the basic prescription for treating spleen-stomach syndrome of deficiency-cold syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine.
From the perspective of western medicine, this prescription can treat all chronic gastrointestinal diseases, including ulcers, atrophic gastritis, colitis, chronic dysentery and so on. It can also treat anemia, neurasthenia, alopecia, etc. In short, all diseases with low systemic function can be treated with this prescription.
② Liujunzi Decoction (the true story of medicine): Sijunzi Decoction plus Pinellia ternate and dried tangerine peel is used to treat spleen and stomach weakness and chest fullness.
③ Gong Yi Powder (directly judged by children's medical certificate): Sijunzi Decoction plus dried tangerine peel is mainly used to treat spleen and stomach deficiency, regardless of diet.
④ Xiangsha Liujunzi Decoction ("Bureau Prescription"): Liujunzi Decoction contains Radix Aucklandiae and Fructus Amomi, and is mainly used for treating spleen and stomach deficiency and abdominal pain.
⑤ Liushen Powder (effective prescription): Sijunzi Decoction with lentils, astragalus, ginger and jujube is mainly used for treating spleen and stomach weakness, body fluid deficiency and body heat.
⑥ Shen Ling Baizhu Powder (prescription of mixture bureau): Sijunzi Decoction with yam, white lentil, lotus seed meat, platycodon grandiflorum, coix seed and Amomum villosum is mainly used for treating spleen and stomach qi deficiency and damp stagnation with moderate focus. The clinical symptoms are sallow complexion, loss of appetite, weakness, shortness of breath, laziness, abdominal distension and diarrhea.
⑦ Guipi Decoction (Fang Jisheng): Sijunzi Decoction with Angelica sinensis, Rourou, Radix Aucklandiae, Cortex et Radix Polygalae and Semen Ziziphi Spinosae is mainly used for treating deficiency of both heart and spleen, with symptoms of sallow, loss of appetite, weakness, shortness of breath, laziness, palpitation, forgetfulness, insomnia and dreaminess.
⑧ Buzhong Yiqi Decoction (spleen and stomach theory): Sijunzi Decoction removes Poria and adds Angelica sinensis, wake up, dried tangerine peel, Bupleurum root and Cimicifuga rhizome, which are mainly used for treating deficiency of middle qi, sallow complexion, anorexia, weakness, shortness of breath and laziness; Or spontaneous sweating, thirst for hot drinks, headache, chills and weak pulse; Or vomiting blood, nosebleed, bloody stool, hematuria.
⑨ Tiaozhong Yiqi Decoction (spleen and stomach theory): Buzhong Yiqi Decoction removes Angelica and adds Radix Aucklandiae. Atractylodes macrocephala is easy to change into Atractylodes macrocephala, which is mainly used to treat chest distress and fatigue caused by deficiency of middle qi, qi stagnation of spleen and stomach, and poor qi movement.

1. formula of Liuwei Dihuang decoction (pill)
① Liuwei Dihuang Decoction, also known as Liuwei Dihuang Pill, comes up as "the tactics of children's medical diagnosis and treatment", which can be taken in soup or refined into pills, so there are two names of soup and pills. This prescription is composed of Radix Rehmanniae (or Radix Rehmanniae Preparata), Fructus Corni, Rhizoma Dioscoreae, Cortex Moutan, Poria, and Rhizoma Alismatis, and is the representative prescription for nourishing kidney yin. The symptoms of treatment are dizziness, dizziness, tinnitus, backache, leg weakness, hot flashes due to bone steaming, feverish sensation of five nerves, and night sweats.
