Can tomatoes be added to the stewed white radish with pork ribs?

It’s edible, tastes pretty good, and the color of the soup is pretty nice. But I have never made it, only eaten it. Here is a recipe I found

Ingredients:

4 tomatoes

2 pieces of ribs

1 white radish

1 bunch of green onions

1 ginger

Steps:

1. Wash the ribs and put them in Start boiling cold water in the rice cooker until it changes color and skim off any blood foam. In another pot of cold water, add onions, ginger, salt, and bring to a boil.

2. Heat the pan with oil, add the chopped tomatoes, add salt and sugar, and stir-fry. Do not add water and simmer until the tomato juice is enough to make soup.

3. Pour out 2/3 of the pork ribs soup, add tomatoes and tomato juice, and simmer for a quarter of an hour.

I hope the above content can be helpful and hope to adopt it.
