Shrimp raised at home is the most in April-May. Shrimp can lay eggs 3 ~ 4 times in 1 year. From mid-April to early May, when the water temperature is above 65438 05℃, the sexually mature female shrimp will start to reproduce and molt, and the whole molting process can be completed in about 2 minutes. After molting, the abdomen of male and female shrimps mate relatively, and the mating time lasts about 5 minutes. 3 ~ 10 hours after mating, the female shrimp holds the egg, and the color of the egg is yellow.
Shrimp is slender, with a body length of 1.5~3cm. The whole body consists of head, chest and abdomen. The head is connected to the chest, and the back and sides are covered with breastplates or carapace. The head and chest are thick, the back is gradually narrow, and the frontal angle is located in the center of the front section of the head and chest.
The upper edge is straight, the end is sharp, the front end of the carapace has a sword-like protrusion, the upper edge has 1 1~ 15 teeth, and the lower edge has 2~4 teeth. There is a hard shell on the body surface, and the whole body consists of 20 joints, including 5 joints of the head, 8 joints of the chest, 7 joints of the abdomen and 5 pairs of feet, including 2 pairs of claws and 3 joints of the back.
Shrimp culture technology
1, pond conditions
Freshwater ponds or shrimp ponds with an area of 3 ~ 5 mu, water depth 1.5 ~ 2.5 m, sufficient fresh water sources, no pollution and sandy bottom should be selected.
2. Fertilize and cultivate bait
1 Before stocking shrimp larvae, filter with a 60-80 mesh sieve, water 30cm, and apply 50kg of base fertilizer (fermented animal manure) or 5kg of urea per mu to cultivate basic bait.
3. Raise shrimp seedlings
Generally, shrimp seedlings can be raised in late May when the water temperature is stable at 18 ~ 20℃. Shrimp seedlings need to be diluted for more than a week, and the proportion is below 1.003 before they can be stocked. Generally, 30,000 to 40,000 shrimps with 0.7 ~ 1.0 cm are put per mu, and seedlings below 0.7 cm are temporarily raised. 80 ~ 10 ~ 20 cm silver carp can be mixed in shrimp ponds.
